Generative AI Certification Achieved: Innovacious at the Forefront

In April I successfully completed my Generative AI for Business certification at Genpact, before I left the company.

The course was interesting but tough, given all of the many evolving components around generative AI. But I thoroughly enjoyed the process.

After passing over a dozen tests, I had to write a mini-thesis on governance around the main dangers of Generative AI (GAI), and the forthcoming Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), the latter of which would encompass:

  1. True Understanding: AGI would be capable of understanding, learning, and applying knowledge across a wide range of tasks, similar to human intelligence.
  2. Autonomous Decision Making: These systems would make complex decisions autonomously, significantly impacting fields like research, medicine, and governance.

The main danger I identified was Deepfake, where bad players could easily and convincingly impersonate world leaders, or anyone, to create major chaos and destruction. You see, in my current view, AI itself is not the main concern but rather the negative use of AI.

In any case, my peers analyised and graded my mini-thesis, as I did theirs, and I passed the course at the intermediate level mainly due to my take on the dangers of Deepfake, which I strongly believe we should all be mindful of.

But don’t just take it from me! Listen to the wisdom (from 2 years ago, mind you) of one of the greatest actors of our time. Maybe…
